                                 Captain Captain  Captain - Steve McLarenNationality - Scottish Steve has over forty years of experience sailing and building the world’s most magnificent yachts. Prior to project managing and Captaining ELENA, he built and ran 120ft sailing yacht ALEJANDRA for ten years. This was followed by several seasons as Captain of classic yacht ELEONORA; cruising and racing her all over the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. As a result, Steve has an extensive knowledge of the best anchorages and sailing grounds on both sides of the Atlantic.

                                First Mate First Mate - Andrew BarberAndrew, more commonly known to the crew as “Nipper”, is British, but grew up with his family of sailing enthusiasts in Palma de Mallorca. Since Andrew joined ELENA in 2010, he has come to know every facet of the yacht, and is all-but part of the furniture on board. Andrew is also fluent in Spanish.

                                 Chef Chef  Chef - Antonio ArguetaChef and Sommelier, passionate about travel, wine and gastronomy, Antonio worked in top restaurants around the world, having trained as a chef in San Sebastian in northern Spain in a prestigious culinary arts school. After training, he travelled and studied to become a sommelier, and worked in St Tropez, London, Melbourne and Spain. He is passionate about designing menus for the guests to create a unique experience on board.

                                 Bosun Bosun  Bosun - Kate MooreKate grew up sailing on Rutland Water and the North Norfolk coast. Joining ELENA in July 2017 after a variety of jobs in the sailing industry has allowed Kate to learn more about classic yacht racing and she is always keen to share her passion for such boats with the guests, and make every day as enjoyable as possible.

                                 Chief Stewardess Chief Stewardess  Chief Stewardess - Laura PearsonLaura was born and bred the South of England, where she was raised sailing on the English Channel and on family holidays in the Mediterranean. Laura started working on Elena during the final stages of her construction in Northern Spain, and during that time she has developed a love for the boat which is evident as she greets guests on board. Her main goal is to make guests as comfortable as possible and ensure they have the time of their lives whilst on board.

                                 Deckhand Deckhand  Deckhand - Ignasi RamonellBorn in Palma de Mallorca, Ignasi has been sailing since he can remember, on dinghies and with his family on their sailing yacht. Ignasi is passionate about the sea and sailing, and can fluently speak Spanish, English and Italian.

                                 Second Stewardess Second Stewardess  Second Stewardess - Heather StephanFrom Arizona, USA, Heather made her way to Spain after university to begin a career on classic sailing yachts. Heather is an active traveller, writer and before joining ELENA she worked in the service industry on yachts and in restaurants around the world.

                                 Engineer Engineer  Engineer - Stephen LoweFrom New Zealand, Stephen grew up spending his summers at the beach, and sailing and diving on his family's yacht. Stephen studied engineering at university and combined his two passions when he joined the yachting industry in 2015. Stephen is a keen sailor as well as having an attention to detail to ensure that ELENA is always running in perfect condition..
